The love of music.
For as long as I remember I have had a passion for listening to music, yes listening. No instruments for me,why? because I am left-handed and no one ever had the patience to teach me.
So I listened and listened and....one day I discovered I could tell a good tune from a bad tune very quickly,I had the ear. Then the problems started.
Which song to listen to?there were so many, for years I fast forwarded/rewround my cassette player and finally CD's arrived with shuffle, things were getting better.
How to discover new music was the next problem, you had to buy magazines and listen to radio and hope for the best.
Finally the digital age arrived with internet and unlimited music brought back the old problem of what to listen to,so much music collected I was missing so much music even with the shuffle button.
"similar to" only chose songs that everyone else was listening to not the songs I wanted.
I needed a radio station that played the music I wanted to listen to,some got close but still songs/artists where slipping past without being listened to.
Solution- Own my own radio, simple. Then the problems started.

You have to play the music you like, yourself. It turns out I like your choice, so I listen. You have to do it for yourself and others may benefit. As simple as that. Keep it up, you're doing well. - regards, Henk
