This is traditional country honky tonk music rooted in the tradition of Hank Williams, Bob Wills, and Willie Nelson. Alvin Crow’s warm, pleasing baritone retains a hint of the youthful charm that propelled Alvin Crow and The Pleasant Valley Boys into the forefront of the Austin, Texas music scene during the 1970s.

Too Country Across the Great Horizon Lovin' on Borrowed Time Real Thing Love Played a Joke on Me Neon Angel Tonight, Tonight Chains on Me Thick and Thin Dynamite Diana

All of these songs were written and arranged by Alvin Crow. Backing is provided by a cadre of some of the outstanding talent residing in the Austin area today, enhanced by Alvin’s fiddle-playing, revealing that he is, perhaps, his own best sideman.

This is great country music. It’s the real thing.
